Imtiaz is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical “Tax Officer” to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling tax-related matters, ensuring compliance with local tax laws, and assisting with tax planning and reporting activities.
Location: Head Office, Karachi.
Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA/ICMA preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in taxation (corporate and indirect taxes) with strong knowledge of local tax laws and regulatory environment.
Job Description:
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (Sales Tax, * Income Tax, Withholding Tax, etc.).
- Maintain tax records and documentation for audits and assessments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Assist in tax planning and optimization strategies.
- Liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and relevant government authorities.
- Keep updated with changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Support internal teams with tax-related queries and reconciliations.
