Imtiaz Group (SMC Private) Limited is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and dynamic “HR Lead” to take charge of our HR Operations managing HR teams of multiple branches within KHI. This is a key role focused on ensuring seamless execution of core HR processes while delivering exceptional employee experience in one of Pakistan’s leading and fastest-growing retail chains. This role will be reporting in to Head of HR – South, with a HR team of 8+ direct reports.
Location: Karachi.
Qualification: Master’s degree in Human Resources.
Experience: 6+ years of experience in HR operations or generalist roles.
Job Description:
- Oversee and execute all core HR operations such as employee onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and contract renewals.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS). Hands on experience with SAP SuccessFactor and TimeTrax would be added advantage.
- Supervise attendance, leave, and time management systems ensuring timely and accurate data processing.
- Ensure all HR policies and practices, compliance with labor laws, EOBI, SESSI, and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare and manage internal and external HR audit documentation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR queries, grievances, and workplace concerns.
- Mediate and resolve employee issues, escalating where necessary to the Head Office HR.
- Promote and maintain a healthy and positive work culture at the branch.
- Talent availability and acquisition to support continuous Store Operations
- Support implementation of performance management systems and employee evaluations.
- Ensure consistent communication and implementation of HR policies and procedures across the branch.
- Prepare periodic reports on workforce metrics such as headcount, attrition, leave trends, and disciplinary actions.
- Identify trends and insights to support strategic HR decisions.
