Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of our hospital facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with infection control standards, manage housekeeping staff, and maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Facility Management, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 3–5 years of housekeeping management experience in a hospital or healthcare facility.
Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and hospital housekeeping standards.
Proficiency in housekeeping software and reporting tools (preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily housekeeping operations to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
Ensure compliance with hospital infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and sanitation regulations.
Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance efficiency & conduct regular inspections of hospital rooms, wards, and common areas to maintain cleanliness and order.
Recruit, train, and supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to hospital standards. Also, conduct performance evaluations & provide feedback.
Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with hospital infection control policies and health & safety regulations.
Collaborate with infection control teams to implement best hygiene practices.
Address and resolve housekeeping-related complaints or issues promptly.
Monitor and manage housekeeping supply inventory, ensuring cost-effective procurement and usage.
Prepare and manage housekeeping budgets while optimizing resource utilization.
Maintain records of cleaning schedules, staff attendance, and operational reports.
Work closely with hospital administration, nursing, and facility management teams.
Respond to emergency cleaning needs and unforeseen maintenance issues efficiently.
