About Kitab Gari (KG): Kitab Gari is ITA’s mobile library initiative that promotes a culture of reading, creativity, and learning among children and communities through storytelling sessions, interactive reading activities, and engagement programs.
- Location: Lahore
- No. of Position: 01
- Duration: 3-6 months Internship (with possibility of extension based on performance)
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- Fresh graduates (preferably in Education, Social Sciences, or related fields) are encouraged to apply.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for education, reading, and child engagement.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel within the city for field activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support in organizing and conducting reading and storytelling sessions.
- Facilitate community engagement and learning activities under the Kitab Gari program.
- Assist in managing mobile library operations, book circulation, and record keeping.
- Coordinate with schools, communities, and internal teams for outreach events.
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance children’s participation and learning outcomes.
