DHAI-R invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the positions of Building Inspector and AutoCAD Operator.

Position: Building Inspector

Qualification: DAE (Civil)

Experience: 5 years of relevant site work experience.

Job Description

• Enforcement of construction byelaws through proactive monitoring of under-construction, completed, or occupied buildings against violations in the respective Area of Responsibility (AOR).
• Implementation of compliance measures by rectification or regularization of deviations from approved drawings.
• Stage-wise inspection of under-construction houses and plazas as per green card guidelines and building byelaws.
• Inspection of buildings for the issuance of completion certificates, NOC for occupation, and transfer of houses.
• Coordination with the Planning Directorate for the initial demarcation of members’ plots.
• Monitoring proper fixing and installation of solar panels.
• Ensuring the fixing of green cloth masking or CGI sheets on under-construction houses and plazas.
• Achieving KPI targets set for the Additional Director in the accomplishment of assigned tasks within given timelines.
• Ensuring strict compliance against notices issued to members for violations of building byelaws.

Skills

• Ability to read, understand, and interpret construction drawings.
• Thorough knowledge of DHAI-R Byelaws and SOPs.
• Proactive approach.
• Ability to communicate professionally with project stakeholders.
• Ability to prepare detailed reports and logs.

Position:  AutoCAD Operator

Qualification: DAE (Civil) or equivalent qualification

Experience: 3 years of experience in architectural project work.

Job Description

• Create and revise technical drawings for various projects, including both commercial and residential properties.
• Maintain a solid understanding of architectural and engineering concepts.
• Ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce clear, compliant technical drawings.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD 2D, Civil 3D, and SketchUp.
