Ahmed Foods is seeking an experienced Innovation, Research & Development Officer (IRD) to join our dynamic and growing team.
WE ARE HIRING IRD OFFICER
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in ensuring compliance with Food Safety, QMS, and Halal requirements during the process.
- Coordinate the review and validation of artworks for new products.
- Assist in reviewing, validating and maintaining accurate nutritional information.
- Coordinate with the cooking validation team to review and validate cooking instructions printed on new product packaging.
- Coordinate and support effective production trials for new products.
- Assist in conducting trials of samples received from different suppliers and documenting the findings.
- Support the updating of work instructions to improve process efficiency.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining IRD documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science or Food Engineering
- Minimum 6 months of experience in FMCG
- Basic knowledge of GMP, Halal, HACCP and ISO standards
- Strong attention to detail, with good documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams
