Job Title: Senior IT Officer – Islamabad
Job Summary: The Senior IT Officer is responsible for providing technical support to end users, managing IT infrastructure, and ensuring smooth operations of all desktop, laptop, and peripheral devices. The role involves troubleshooting complex issues, collaborating with the IT team, and maintaining hardware and software systems efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide front-line IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain a log of IT support requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners.
- Ensure timely software installations, updates, and security patches.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and manage procurement as needed.
- Work closely with the IT team to resolve escalated technical issues.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and guidance on complex IT challenges.
- Assist in IT process optimization and documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Required Experience & Education:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
