Job Summary:
The Finance & Recovery Executive will be responsible for managing financial transactions, monitoring outstanding receivables, and ensuring timely recovery from clients. This role demands strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and effective coordination with sales, operations, and clients to maintain healthy cash flow for the travel business.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance & Accounting
Process and record daily financial transactions related to ticketing, tour packages, hotel bookings, and other travel services.
Reconcile bank statements, payment gateways, and customer accounts.
Ensure timely preparation of invoices and receipts.
Assist in month-end closing, financial reporting, and audits.
Recovery & Receivables Management
Track outstanding payments and follow up with clients for timely recovery.
Maintain updated records of receivables and report overdue accounts to management.
Coordinate with the sales and operations team to resolve billing disputes.
Implement recovery strategies to minimize bad debts.
Coordination & Compliance
Liaise with travel suppliers, airlines, and partners regarding financial settlements.
Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and tax requirements.
Prepare periodic recovery and finance performance reports for management.

Key Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in finance/recovery, preferably in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry.

Skills:

o Strong knowledge of accounting principles and receivables management.
o Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
o Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
o Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
