Job Summary
FonGrow Pvt Limited is seeking a qualified and motivated IT Assistant to join our team at the Khanewal Agri Farm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting all information technology systems, including computer hardware, network infrastructure, farm management software, and basic troubleshooting of electronic equipment used in agricultural operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ensure proper functioning of internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, and local area network (LAN) across the farm premises.
- Assist in maintaining farm management software and data backup systems.
- Provide technical support to farm administration and operational staff.
- Monitor and maintain security systems (CCTV, access control) if applicable.
- Keep inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Coordinate with external vendors for repairs and upgrades.
- Ensure data security and basic cybersecurity measures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and basic networking.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Good communication skills in Urdu and basic English.
- Ability to work independently in a farm/field environment.
- Preferred: Experience with CCTV systems, printers, and basic server management.
Working Conditions
- Based at the Agri Farm in Khanewal (non-urban setting).
- May require occasional travel within the farm premises.
