Job Responsibilities:
1) Strong knowledge and exposure especially on Siemens, Allen Bradley, and other known PLC systems brands.
2) In depth knowledge and experience in troubleshooting, programming, commissioning of PLC systems preferably in dairy sector.
3) Extensive exposure with HMI’s and SCADA systems (Firmware & Hardware).
4) Rich experience in Tetra Pak machinery and process control preferably in Dairy processing sector including UHT, One-Step, Powder Plants and dairy production equipment.
5) Ensure I&C of Utilities including Ammonia compressors, Air compressors, Boilers and Water treatment plants are well maintained and avoid downtime.
6) Identify and troubleshoot faults in I&C systems all across plant and machinery.
7) Maintain and troubleshoot VFD’s for all motors across plant.
8) Demonstrated management experience with peers and reporting team.
9) Ensures maintenance tasks are completed by the Technicians on time and with quality.
10) Attempts all possible means of reducing equipment downtime and ensuring high plant availability.
11) Prioritize, plan, and oversee projects and workload for the assigned unit.
12) Ensures a safe working environment for himself and reporting staff whilst working on any equipment.
