Job Responsibilities
1) Oversee and manage the overall accounting operations of the company as per IFRS
2) Review and analyze financial results of 2 entities on various frequencies (Monthly, Quarterly, Biannually & annually), ensuring accuracy
3) Work closely with management on preparation for Quarterly review of Board and Audit Committee decks for approval of accounts and special resolutions passed on meetings
4) Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures, internal controls and review their effectiveness and take corrective actions
5) Supervise and lead a team of accounting professionals along with their training and skills improvements in accounting and financial environment
6) Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including internal & external auditors and group Companies (Parent, sister concerns) for consolidation and group reporting
7) Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local corporate regulations
8) Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management through analysis (Horizontal and vertical), industry comparisons etc.
