Position: Analyst – Mergers & Acquisitions and Investor Relations

Requirements

Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Finance/Economics
Additional qualifications: CFA Level II Candidate
Experience: 2 – 3 years of experience (of which 1 to 2 years of Corporate Finance /
Investment Banking / Equity Research experience is ideal)

Job Purpose: To assist GM / Manager – M&A and Investor Relations in evaluating, managing and executing buyside / sell-side transactions and support in management of Investor Relations activities.

Overall Responsibilities:

Formulate and control financial models, business sensitivities, valuation matrices for evaluation of investment / divestment opportunities.
Assist the team in managing transactions and projects related to portfolio companies and / or other new business development initiatives.
Assist in managing all investor relations related activities including analyst briefings, press releases, investor engagement, roadshows etc.
Provide support in managing business relationships within Engro, portfolio companies and with external advisors / bankers / consultants to enhance understanding of different sectors / industries and to collate meaningful insights relevant for projects and transactions.
Develop an understanding of relevant transaction documents, key contracts and agreements from a legal and commercial perspective.
Provide support in developing processes, frameworks and thought pieces relevant to financial and strategic decision-making.
Provide support in updating the pipeline of deals incorporating all relevant Group projects / transactions.
