We are looking for an Investment Research Professional to join our Finance Department at our Head Office in Karachi.

INVESTMENT RESEARCH PROFESSIONAL – KARACHI
EFU General Insurance Ltd. is inviting applications from competent and motivated professionals for the mid-level position of Research in its Investment Section of the Finance Department, Head Office, Karachi.
Key Job Role:
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of equity and fixed-income markets
- Prepare detailed research reports, market updates, and investment recommendation reports
- Analyse economic trends, macroeconomic indicators, and monetary policy movements and assess their impact on financial markets
- Liaise closely with brokers, research houses, and other relevant market participants to obtain market intelligence and research inputs
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Professional degree, certification in Finance, Economics, Investment, CFA (part qualified), or a relevant discipline
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in investment research, equity research, fixed income research, asset management, or a related field
- Sound understanding of equity and fixed income markets, economic trends, and monetary policy
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to analyse financial and market data and develop clear investment recommendations
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and financial research tools
