Position: Mid-Level Manager – Finance Department
Location: Head Office, Karachi
EFU General Insurance Limited is seeking a competent and performance-driven Mid-level Manager Finance for its Finance Department at the Head Office in Karachi. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with one of Pakistan’s leading insurance companies and contribute to effective financial management and reporting.
Job Role:
- Oversee core accounting and finance functions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and internal control frameworks
- Lead, guide, and supervise the finance team to achieve departmental objectives
- Review financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support audit requirements
- Support budgeting, financial analysis, and other corporate finance activities
- Ensure effective use of accounting systems/ERP and financial tools
Required Qualification & Experience:
- Education: Professional accounting qualification such as CA (Finalist), ICMA, or ACCA
- Experience: Minimum five years of relevant experience, including at least two years in a managerial or supervisory role
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and Leadership skills
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial controls, reporting requirements, and hands-on proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
