Dr. Ziauddin Hospital is hiring a Manager – Electrical for their Sukkur Campus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the electrical maintenance team.
- Ensure safe and reliable operation of High Tension Voltage (HTV) and Low Tension Voltage (LTV) electrical systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Ensure all electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems, are maintained in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NFPA, NEC).
- Manage the hospital’s generator testing and preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments and external contractors on electrical projects, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.
- Conduct regular drills and training to ensure staff readiness for electrical and generator-related emergencies.
Requirements:
- Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Relevant Qualification: (e.g., Licensed Electrician, Project Management Professional) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Knowledge and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
