QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences or a related field.
- Relevant certifications and courses in Fire Safety & HSE (Health, Safety & Environment).
- 3 to 4 years of supervisory experience in the hospitality industry or similar sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct routine fire risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Develop and implement effective control measures to minimize fire risks.
- Perform regular inspections of fire detection systems, alarms, smoke detectors, and sprinklers to ensure they are fully operational.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to fire alarms, taking appropriate emergency actions.
- Deliver hands-on training sessions for fire wardens and safety officers to ensure preparedness.
- Maintain full compliance with fire safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Record, investigate, and analyze incidents, accidents, or near-misses to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.
- Keep accurate logs, safety reports, and inspection records up-to-date.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports to management and regulatory authorities as needed.
