We are looking to add a member to our Accounts & Finance team, who is an expert in developing and monitoring financial budgets, managing accounting operations, performing financial analysis of the key business drivers. This is exactly the best opportunity for someone who has the ability to play a pivotal role in elevating the business to create a benchmark amongst best industry practices.
The major areas of focus and expertise for an ideal candidate are:
- Preparation of accurate monthly consolidated management accounts whilst ensuring that the internal and external reporting deadlines are met
- Provide proactive consultation and interpretation of complex financial and operational matters to various department leaders to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business decisions
- Reviewing all Agreements, liaising with the process owners and keeping management informed and all times through reporting
- Working closely with the business to ensure that changes in accounting policies are implemented properly
- Ensuring timely postings of accounting transactions in Accounting records
- Developing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Assisting the Group’s external auditors with the annual audit of consolidated accounts
- Interpreting data and providing concise explanations on trends and variances monthly while consolidating the MORs
- Creating financial statements and footnote support for inclusion in public and regulatory filings
- Physically scrutinize the internal control weaknesses & suggest relevant internal controls as per the auditing standards
- Manage Accounting and Finance operations at the plant, and implement best practices in the financial and management reporting by checking product and process costing, analysing production variances, carrying out periodic physical stock count of stocks and stores, periodic review of fixed and variables overheads applied and advise management on major variances and checking and validation of utilities’ cost by each process
- Good strategic, analytical, interpersonal and pressure handling skills
Qualification Requirements: Is a fresh CA or a CA Finalist (articles completed)
Candidates from Big 4 Firms with knowledge about ERP/SAP can also apply
The position will be based at the Corporate Office in Gulberg however, might require working at the site in Feroze Wattwan, Sheikhupura.
