We are looking to add a member to our Accounts & Finance team, who loves working with numbers and has spent some good time working with the Payables in a textile setup. This is a fascinating opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about creating a larger impact on the business by making the best use of numbers. A good fit for this role would be ideally someone who can oversee the accurate and efficient processing of payment requests, including invoice acceptance, approvals, and quality checks, whilst addressing supplier and employee queries, performing supplier reconciliations
The major areas of focus and expertise for an ideal candidate are:
Has at least 5-6 years of experience of working in the Accounts department of a Textile company.
Qualification Requirements: ACCA, Masters/Bachelors in Accounting & Finance or an equivalent qualification
The position will be based at the Corporate Office, Gulberg, Lahore.

- Ensure that vendor invoices and expense vouchers are processed and paid on time to maintain good relationships with suppliers
-Maintaining detailed and accurate financial records and control reports to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies - Manage vendor relationships and resolve any issues or disputes related to payments or invoices.
- Ensure that all accounts payable activities comply with company policies and financial regulations, and provide necessary reports to management
- Ensuring timely response and payments to all the concerned stakeholders and maintaining a complete record
- Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports, including ageing reports, cash flow projections, and vendor performance metrics
- Participate in Period Closing activities and ensure that all relevant adjustments are adequately incorporated
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes for accounts payable
- Liaising with relevant vendors for the provision of applicable tax challans/certificates
- Accurate recording of taxation payments in the system and reconciling the same with relevant modules
- Support all external audit-related activities
- Good multitasking, analytical, interpersonal and pressure-handling skills and has an ability to drive processes through innovation and ownership
