Job Description:
- Supervise proposals’ preparation by providing necessary inputs to ensure improved estimation by using market intelligence, proactive approach.
- Develop and implement business plans to identify and accomplish short-term and long-term objectives of Plant Maintenance & Shutdowns.
- Ensures execution of the projects as per the methodology prepared at proposal stage by focusing on improved profitability before setting out site activities through receipt of better quality of information.
- Takes proactive role to identify problems and opportunities, ascertain the company strengths and weaknesses vis-Ã -vis. market conditions in general and specific competition with a view to deciding the best strategy option.
- Ensure the effective achievement of departmental objectives through the leadership–setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing, and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal.
- Accountable to create a safe working environment, manage risks, reduce exposure to hazardous liability and ensure implementation of QHSE policy and upheld all QA/QC standards.
- Ensure forward planning on all aspects of the projects during pre-execution phase and maintain management focus on the project schedule during implementation for enhanced profitability.
- Monitor project costs and initiate corrective actions to achieve budgeted profitability of the department.
