The ideal candidate should have the following qualification, experience and skill sets:
- Bachelors’ degree or above in Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum of 6 years of coal handling/fuel transportation management in a thermal power plant with units of 600MW or above.
- Familiar with the structural principles of coal handling equipment, with rich operation and management experience.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, presentation skills & problem-solving skills under pressure.
The main responsibilities of the position will involve:
- Under the leadership of the coal handling management, be responsible for the safety management, technical management, and personnel management of this profession.
- Supervise the work of each operation team, and regularly check the operation logs, training records, and technical records of each operation team.
- Guide the operation team to handle accidents and abnormalities.
- Verify the reports of the reporting department every day and submit them to the coal handling management.
- Formulate coal unloading, coal loading and coal blending plans, and guide the team to unload and load coal.
- Verify defects, contact and coordinate with the maintenance department, and track the handling situation.
- Assume full responsibility for safety, production, and technical coordination.
- Oversee and implement the “Two Votes and Three Systems” (work/operation tickets, shift handover, inspection, and maintenance systems).
- Regularly hold safety and production work meetings to study and solve major problems in safety and production.
- Responsible for compiling and improving the operating procedures, drawings, technical measures of coal handling system.
