About the Role: The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of fixed assets including additions, disposals, transfers and depreciation calculations. The role includes reconciliation of fixed asset accounts with the general ledger and conducting periodic physical verification of assets. The incumbent will assist in preparing the CAPEX budget and monitor budget versus actual spending. This position requires coordination with finance, procurement and operations teams, as well as support during audits through timely documentation. Familiarity with Oracle R12 ERP and identifying process improvements in asset management will be an added advantage.
The Requirements: The right individual must be part-qualified ACCA, CA, CMA, or hold an MBA in Finance, with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in fixed assets management. Proficiency in Oracle R12 ERP (Fixed Assets Module) is essential. The incumbent must also have a sound understanding of IFRS and fixed asset accounting principles, along with strong analytical and coordination skills.
