CANTONMENT BOARD MALIR JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Applications are invited from eligible candidates to fill the following posts in MLC Club Malir Cantt on purely contract/temporary basis under Rule-09 of the Pakistan Cantonment Servant Rules, 1954 (amended from time to time) subject to fulfillment of the prescribed criteria and qualification mentioned against each:-

1. General Manager (01 Position)

Master’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role in the Hospitality Industry.
Proficient in Hotel Management Software and Systems.

2. F&B / Purchase Manager (01 Position)

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a senior management role in food and beverage operations, preferably in a hotel or club.
Preferred certifications include FMP (Food Management Professional).
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

3. Barista (01 Position)

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of experience as a Barista or in a related customer service role.
Strong knowledge of coffee preparation methods and ingredients.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

4. Front Desk Incharge (01 Position)

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a front office management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Proficient in club management software (e.g., PMS) and Microsoft Office.

5. HR / Admin / Security Supervisor (01 Position)

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
Strong knowledge of Labour Laws, Regulations, and best practices.
Proficient in HR Software and Microsoft Office.
Certification in Human Resources (e.g. SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.

6. IT Incharge (01 Position)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in an IT Management Role, preferably in the Hospitality Industry.
Strong technical background in IT Infrastructure, Systems, and Networks.

7. Swimming Pool Instructor (02 Positions: 01 Male & 01 Female)

Higher Secondary School degree or equivalent required.
Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field preferred.
3+ years of experience as a Swimming Instructor or Lifeguard.
Relevant Certifications (e.g. Red Cross, YMCA, ASA) and CPR/AED Certification.

8. Swimming Pool / Sauna / Steam Maintenance Supervisor (01 Position)

Technical degree in a related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a maintenance Supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Preferred certifications include CMMS (Certified Maintenance Manager).

9. Gymnasium Instructors (02 Positions: 01 Male & 01 Female)

Higher Secondary School degree or equivalent required.
Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field preferred.
3+ years of experience as a Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer.
Relevant Certifications (e.g. ACE, NASM, AFAA) and CPR/AED Certification.

10. Chef (02 Positions)

Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Hotel, Club, or Fine Dining Restaurant Kitchen.
Preferred certification include Culinarian (CC) OR Pastry Culinarian (CPC).

Terms & Conditions:

The eligible candidates must submit their applications to the office of the Cantonment Executive Officer, Bostan Lines, Malir Cantt or apply online through ML&C Career Portal (careers.mlc.gov.pk) BY 28-07-2024.
Candidates are required to enclose one photocopy set of CNIC, academic degrees, registration certificates etc. and two passport size photographs with the applications.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview for which no TA / DA will be given.
Late and incomplete applications will not be considered for interview.
Candidates already in government service are required to apply through proper channel otherwise their applications will not be considered.
Terms of the contract will be communicated through an offer letter to the successful candidates. Candidates accepting the terms and conditions laid down in the offer letter will be issued final selection letter. Initially the contract will be offered for a period of one year but the same is extendable subject to performance and conditions as to be decided by CBM.
The salary package will be attractive and comparable with market pattern.
The recruitment shall be on contract basis and shall remain as such.
