FLIGHT INSPECTOR PILOT (EG-07)Â –Â ()
Description:  To carry out safety oversight duties inclusive of surveillance / inspection / checks of AOC holders as laid down in Civil Aviation Regulations. Wherein, it is expedient to implement the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations, as Flight Inspector (Pilot), is responsible to Director Flight Standards to inspect, review, conduct/monitor checks etc of AOC holders and recommend for approval or otherwise.   In the discharge of duties the CAA Rules, Operating Regulations, ANO’s, other Instructions and Directives etc are to be adhered to. The procedures as laid down in the approved Manuals, Guidance Materials and Documents etc which are applicable for the purpose shall be followed in their letter and spirit.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATION
·        Graduate.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum flying experience of 7500 hours including 4000 hours as Pilot in-Command on Commercial and / or Military Air Transport Aero Plane.
10 years or more experience in Commercial or Military Air Transport Aero Plane as a Pilot.
Must have an adequate experience of working in an Airline or Military Air Transport Organization.
Should have held previous appointments either in operational managements, as an airline pilot and designed examiner, or training, or as a military pilot where equivalent experience in air operations would have been acquired.
Hold a Valid Pakistani ATPL with a current type rating on one of the Commercial and / or Military Transport Aircraft types registered in Pakistan.
KNOWLEDGE
Should have broad knowledge of Air transport Operations, Meteorology and Climatology & auditing techniques.
Experience with technical training & flight simulating training devices including visual aids and synthetic training devices.
Experience of carrying out statistical analysis of aviation activities and monitoring of airlines’ reliability program.
Extensive knowledge of Civil Aviation Rules, ANOs, ICAO SARPs and other applicable regulations.
Well versed with IT & MS Office application.
Knowledge of State Safety Program (SSP) & Safety Management System

Qualifications
QUALIFICATION
·        B.E / B.Sc / B.S in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering from a HEC recognized University with at least 2nd Division or CGPA 2.5.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 25 years of experience with 10 years in a similar capacity or at administering and managing mega projects.
Should have an experience of managing large / mega projects alongwith a particular emphasis on handling construction / Civil Engineering project consolidation. Should have a proven record of completing the large scale projects successfully including transition management.
Aviation related functional experience in strategic planning, Operations and Administration of large aviation projects would be of added advantage.
Experience of interaction at Government level, Ministries, etc.
Experience of handling negotiation management and conflict management issues effectively.
Experience in participating in high level operational initiative, infrastructure design/development & capital works follow-up.
Expertise of experience of handling big / mega projects or projects of National significance.
SKILLS
Having in-depth knowledge of infrastructure development of varied nature. Experience of overseeing major roads, runways and airport terminal projects would be given extra weightage.
Possessing vision and leadership skills to plan, handle and manage mega infrastructure development projects with ability and interpersonal skill to lead a team of highly experienced and professional staff.
Ability to render professional advice and input for formulation of and achieving strategic goals and objectives with regard to future civil aviation infrastructure needs of Pakistan and well versed with contractual conditions and prerequisites conforming to international standards.
