Position: Sr. Manager Production (Exhaust Dyeing)

Role Summary

Responsible for leading, managing, and controlling end-to-end exhaust dyeing operations within a vertically integrated textile and apparel manufacturing environment. The role ensures timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant dyeing of fabrics in accordance with production plans, buyer requirements, approved shade standards, sustainability expectations, and export-oriented compliance protocols.

The position plays a critical role in driving operational excellence across fabric dyeing by ensuring production efficiency, right-first-time performance, shade consistency, optimal machine utilization, controlled reprocessing, reduced chemical and utility consumption, and disciplined process execution. The incumbent is also responsible for leading and developing the production team while ensuring effective coordination with Knitting, Lab, Processing, Finishing, Quality, PPC, Maintenance, Chemical Store, and Garment Production teams.

Qualifications : Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Textile or Chemical Engineering, preferably with specialization in Wet Processing/Dyeing from HEC accredited Institutes

Essential Competencies:

Expertise in troubleshooting complex dyeing defects such as uneven dyeing, streaks, and PTP
Knowledge of exhaust dyeing kinetics and process optimization for different fiber blends
Experience in developing cost-effective dyeing recipes while maintaining quality standards
Strong knowledge in evaluating and selecting dyes, auxiliaries, and chemicals for different fabric types
Ability to implement and monitor process control parameters to ensure reproducibility of shades
Skilled in coordinating trials for new fabrics, dyes, or machinery with R&D teams
Familiarity with effluent treatment, waste management, and eco-friendly dyeing practices
Capability to analyze production data, generate reports, and drive data-driven decision making
Ability to monitor and improve machine performance, including preventive maintenance planning
Knowledge of compliance with international standards in dyeing operations

Experience : 10-12 years of relevant experience of exhaust dyeing in a reputable textile manufacturing environment
