WE ARE HIRING! Deputy Manager | Washing (Dry Process)
We’re looking for a hands-on, target-driven Deputy Manager – Washing (Denim) to lead operations, optimize resources, and deliver world-class washing quality within defined timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise daily denim washing operations to achieve production targets within defined timelines.
- Drive team performance through regular feedback and strong accountability culture.
- Optimize manpower and machinery to maximize operational efficiency.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Compliance for smooth workflow.
- Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety standards across all shifts.
- Implement approved washing patterns while maintaining defined quality benchmarks.
- Oversee quality control activities including inspection, sampling, measurement, and sorting.
- Manage preventive maintenance and equipment repairs to minimize downtime.
- Prepare and review daily production reports, resolving discrepancies proactively.
- Oversee stock takes and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Train and cross-train team members to build a versatile, high-performing workforce.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering or in relevant field.
Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of experience in related field.
