SITUATION VACANT: Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment on a contract basis under the development project “Internship Scheme for Agriculture Graduates” (2024-25).

Position: Financial Specialist

Project Pay Scale: 06
Number of Posts: 01
Age Limit: Maximum up to 35 years

Qualification, Experience, and Eligibility:

Master’s Degree in Financial Services/ACMA/ACCA/M.COM or equivalent in Accounting & Finance, or Commerce from a reputable & recognized local/international educational institute.
Development sector experience will be an added advantage.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Strong financial and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the capability of working with senior officials.
Minimum of two years of work experience in financial management in a public sector organization.

NOTE:

Relaxation in the upper age limit is not admissible.
In case of other relevant degrees, the equivalence certificate issued by HEC/Competent Forum must be provided by the candidate.
Contract appointments are temporary, non-transferable, job/post-specific, non-pensionable, and confer no right for regularization. The contract appointment will be up to 30.06.2025.
If the project period is reduced/enhanced, the contract appointment order will be amended accordingly with the approval of competent authority.
Recruitment will be strictly on merit in accordance with the selection & eligibility criteria approved in the PC-I.
Application Process:
- Applications must be on the prescribed form (downloadable from www.agripunjab.gov.pk).
- Address applications to Director General Agriculture (Extension) Punjab, 21-Davis Road, Lahore.
- Clearly indicate the position applied for and attach the following:
  - Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  - Three passport-size recent photographs
  - Attested copies of all relevant documents including CNIC, degrees, detailed marks certificates, CGPA, Hafiz-e-Quran Certificate (if applicable), and Board/University position certificates.
  - Release orders for Ex-Servicemen (if applicable).
- Deadline for submission: 28.03.2025 (Late/incomplete applications will not be considered).
- Only eligible candidates will be called for test/interview. No TA/DA will be paid.
Candidates must submit a hard copy of the application form along with attested relevant documents within the due date.
The list of eligible candidates will be displayed on the Notice Board 3 days prior to the interview. Candidates may approach the Director Agriculture (Extension) Punjab, Lahore for clarifications at least two days before the interview date.
Successful candidates will be displayed on the Notice Board, followed by offer of appointment letters after approval from the Department Selection/Recruitment Committee.
The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts.
The selected candidate will not be entitled to pay protection or regularization benefits.
