Job Purpose:Â Execution of logistics processes for product inbounds, in-market stock and customer services to the trade and institution customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Point of contact to Commercial/customers/distributors/LSPs for current inventory availability, physical inventory/batch status, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Support CSLM in stock rationing at all in-market distribution centers to maintain optimum stock levels to stations’ demand for outbound supplies.
- Liaise with Logistics Control Tower, local Customs Clearance agents and other LSPs to ensure timely movement of imported stock.
- Facilitate CSL Manager in achieving inbound freight management KPIs and regional reporting.
- Liaise with logistics control tower and supplying site for required shipping documents for timely custom clearance.
- Monitor mode of transportation for all inbound (imported) shipments and optimize the same to achieve minimum freight cost while considering stock position and shelf life requirements.
- Inform Commercial/distributors/customers and LSPs of planned inbound supply and instruct of stock shortages or stock-outs that will impact supply based on information from the RSDH
- Develop various reports such as Sales and Inventory Tracker, Imports Tracker and OTIF for decision making to maintain required service level.
- Work hand-in-hand with operations to improve upon different KPIs such as Productivity, Warehouse Capacity Utilization and OTIF.
- Ensure the integrity of Material Master and Customer data (for logistics movements and order/invoice processing) within the local systems used.
- Execute write off process quarterly to ensure all non saleable stock is provisioned and incinerated.
- Liaise with LSPs and local authorities to manage in-market logistics activities for Pack Changes, Discontinuations, first-time new product importation, free samples, clinical trial deliveries, Tender samples etc
