Position: Officer – Corporate Affairs
Location: Karachi
Qualification: Law Graduate (LLB, LLM)
Minimum Experience: 1-year experience within payment industry/ fin-techs/ Banks
Role & Responsibility:
• Assist in preparation of notices, agendas and working papers of the Board meetings
• Maintenance of corporate and statutory books
• Liaising with regulators, legal advisors and shareholders
• Assisting Company Secretary in developing and overseeing systems that the Company complies with all the relevant laws and best practices of corporate governance vis-a-vis policies and processes
• Assist in ensuring compliance with the provisions of the Companies Act and other statutes of law.
• Monitoring changes in applicable legislation and regulatory requirements and initiating appropriate actions.
• Advising on legal, governance, accounting and tax implications of any proposed policies.
• To review, draft and/or prepare all agreements, leases and other legal forms.
Other Skills:
Knowledge of Companies Act 2017, Corporate Laws, Contract Act, SBP Rules & Guidelines and SECP Rules and Guidelines etc.
