WE ARE HIRING

Under the provisions of Regulation 9, 10 and 11 of NADRA Employees (Service) Regulations, 2002, NADRA is seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals for the following positions:-

Position 1

Position & Age:

Deputy Assistant Director (Junior DevOps Engineer)
Age (Max): 30 Years

Educational Background:

Minimum 16 years education in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering or equivalent in a related field from an HEC recognized university
(Degrees must be attested by HEC)

Job Requirements:

Professional Experience:

0-1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities, Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of webservers, GIT, CI/CD pipelines and scripting language like Python, Java, Bash, Ruby etc.
Knowledge of obfuscation tools like Ansible, Chef and puppet or similar tools.
Containerization services like Docker/Kubernetes.
In-streaming and real time platforms like Rabbit MQ, Apache Kafka, etc.
Hands on experience in managing data sources like Oracle, Postgres, Mongo, Redis etc.
Hands-on development experience in cloud environments.
Working knowledge of Azure, HCP etc. would be preferred.

Position 2

Position & Age:

Deputy Assistant Director (Junior Infrastructure Engineer)
Age (Max): 30 Years

Educational Background:

Minimum 16 years education in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering or equivalent in a related field from an HEC recognized university
(Degrees must be attested by HEC)

Job Requirements:

Professional Experience:

0-1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities, Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of maintaining high-availability servers, storage, and networking systems.
Knowledge of Linux, Windows, and Unix operating systems.
Knowledge of virtualized environments using VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or KVM.
Knowledge of shell scripting and automation using Ansible / Chef.
Knowledge of enterprise web and application servers, including Tomcat, Apache, Oracle WebLogic, and IBM WebSphere.
Knowledge of comprehensive backup and disaster recovery operations, including data integrity validation and restoration testing.
Proactively monitor system performance and resource utilization for capacity planning and bottleneck mitigation.

Position 3

Position & Age:

Deputy Assistant Director (VAS Operations)
Age (Max): 30 Years

Educational Background:

Minimum 16 years education in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering or equivalent in a related field from an HEC recognized university
(Degrees must be attested by HEC)

Job Requirements:

Professional Experience:

0-1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities, Skills & Competencies:

Basic exposure to open-source technologies related to VoIP platforms.
Understanding of call flows, queues, IVR, agents and monitoring dashboards.
Knowledge of Basic Linux Fundamentals (CentOS, Ubuntu, openSUSE, Debian), VMware, Ceph architecture, GIT, CI/CD pipelines, Bash scripting, and basic networking.
Ability to troubleshoot basic call issues, including one-way audio, registration failures, latency and jitter.
Awareness of VoIP concepts including SIP, RTP, extensions, trunks and codecs.
Basic understanding of Linux CLI, file systems, user, services and permission management.
Familiarity with system monitoring, log analysis, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
Awareness of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP addressing, DNS, and routing.
Basic knowledge of virtualization concepts, including CPU, memory storage and snapshot management.
Exposure to Docker and Containerization, including images, containers, Dockerfiles, and registries.
Basic knowledge of Python Shell/Bash scripting.
Ability to follow SOPs, ticketing systems, incident and change management processes.
Willingness to learn, document work, collaborate with teams and operate in a production environment.

Position 4

Position & Age:

Deputy Assistant Director (Network Engineer – Core)
Age (Max): 30 Years

Educational Background:

Minimum 16 years education in Computer Science/Information Technology/Telecom Engineering/Software Engineering or equivalent in a related field from an HEC recognized university
(Degrees must be attested by HEC)
Masters’ degree will be preferred

Job Requirements:

Professional Experience:

0-1 year of relevant experience.
Network related certification(s) will be preferred.

Responsibilities, Skills and Competencies:

Operate P2P Fiber, DRS, and 3G/4G connectivity links nationwide.
Coordinate with ISPs for troubleshooting and link optimization including ISP technologies.
Maintain network inventory, topology diagrams, and documentation.
Ensure testing, acceptance, and handover of network links.
Monitor network performance and availability through NMS.
Understanding of systems, databases and different network technologies including DCN, SAN, Metro.
Understanding of SDN operations and management cloud environment.
Understanding of SD-WAN technology and its operations.

Position 5

Position & Age:

Deputy Assistant Director (System Administrator)
Age (Max): 30 Years

Educational Background:

Minimum 16 years education in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering or equivalent in a related field from an HEC recognized university
(Degrees must be attested by HEC)

Job Requirements:

Professional Experience:

0-1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities, Skills and Competencies:

Monitor Data Center infrastructure, NMS dashboards, and service status by using relevant tools.
Perform first-level troubleshooting for Linux systems, Windows servers & network issues, and escalate to senior-level systems administrators when required.
Execute routine operations including backup verification, job schedule checks, and system health monitoring.
Working knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Virtualization, TCP/IP, basic networking, and Information Security concepts.
Experience in system administration in cloud environments would be preferred.

Job Location: Islamabad

Terms & Conditions

Selected candidate will be hired on contract basis, with a 6-month probation period (extendable if required).
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Must be willing to work in shift as per requirement.

5 years’ relaxation in age is already included in above age limit.

Attested degrees from Higher Education Commission (HEC)/relevant regulatory bodies must be provided at the time of interview.
