ATCO is hiring EHS Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensure the effective implementation and continuous monitoring of EHS compliance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), legal registers, and adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
· Lead the tracking, follow-up, and closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). Maintain an up-to-date EHS action tracker to ensure timely execution of all identified actions.
· Facilitate and review organizational risk assessments, hazard identification, and root cause analyses (RCA) for incidents, accidents, and near misses in collaboration with risk assessors.
· Conduct routine site inspections and internal audits to proactively detect potential EHS risks, non-conformities, and areas for improvement. Recommend and oversee the implementation of corrective actions.
· Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ensure effective training and communication of EHS requirements to all employees.
· Lead investigations of EHS incidents to identify root causes. Analyze incident data and emerging trends to support continuous improvement and preventive measures.
· Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure emergency response plans are established, regularly updated, and practiced through drills and simulations.
· Stay current with evolving EHS regulations and industry best practices. Recommend and drive improvements to enhance the organization’s overall EHS performance and culture.
· Support the development of EHS-related presentations, reports, and communication materials to promote awareness, engagement, and a strong EHS culture across the organization.

Education & Experience:

· Bachelor of Engineering in environment or related field along with professional certifications in occupational health, safety & environment
· 4 to 5 years experience in occupational health, safety & environment

Skills:

· Strong knowledge of EHS laws, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards.
· Skilled in risk assessment, incident investigation & CAPA management.
· Proficient in EHS audits, SOP implementation & compliance monitoring.
· Experienced in delivering EHS training & building safety culture.
· Knowledge of environmental management, waste handling & sustainability.
· Capable in emergency response planning & conducting drills.
· Adept at EHS data analysis, reporting & stakeholder engagement.
