QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST / TESTING ENGINEER
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman & JMeter).
- Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, document, and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality at every stage of development.
- Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
- Design and maintain automated testing frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Ensure quality metrics and KPIs are defined, measured, and reported effectively.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and release management discussions.
- Ensure compliance with security, usability, and performance standards.
PREFERRED SKILLS (PLUS POINT)
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Exposure to Cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
- Basic understanding of security testing concepts.
