WE ARE HIRING! Assistant Manager (Jacquard Elastic Designing)
Role Summary: The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, creating, and managing innovative elastic designs with a focus on jacquard patterns. This role demands technical expertise in weaving techniques, design software, and an understanding of market trends to produce high-quality, functional, and aesthetically appealing elastic products for diverse applications in Nylon, Polyester, Viscose, Lurex, Cotton materials.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Weaving Technology, or relevant degree.
Experience: 4-6 years of relevant work experience in jacquard elastic or fabric design within a reputable Textile/Garments Manufacturing, Trims, Accessories or related Industries.
Essential Competencies:
- Proficiency in jacquard-specific software.
- Strong command over Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for technical and creative work.
- In-depth understanding of yarn behaviour, weaving structures, elastic properties, and finishing methods.
- Excellent eye for detail, color theory, pattern composition, and trend adaptation.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with production, sourcing, and technical teams.
- Experience with international buyers or export-oriented production setups.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow/manufacture technical constraints.
