We are hiring Compliance Officer
Key Accountabilities
- Monitoring compliance with all laws, rules & regulations applicable to the Insurance Sector i.e. the Anti-Money Laundering Laws, Rules and Regulations, & related Directives the Code of Corporate Governance or Insurers, Insurance Ordinance, & the Rules and Regulations made thereunder.
- Keeping the senior management / departments updated with the changes in the regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring timely submission of accurate data / returns as required under the applicable laws.
- Monitoring and timely reporting of Suspicious and Currency Transactions to Financial Monitoring Unit.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors
- Graduate, Masters preferred, LLB/LLM. Preferably a member of a recognized body of chartered accountants or public accountants.
- At least 3 years of experience in a compliance function of an insurer, public practice (law/accounting/audit firm) or in managing financial audit or corporate affairs related function of a company.
- Familiarly with Laws, Ordinance, Rules and Regulations of Insurance Sector.
