WE ARE HIRING Accountant (Café Beirut)
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
- Prepare financial statements, P&L reports, and balance sheets
- Monitor and control restaurant expenses, including food and labor costs
- Handle tax filings, sales tax reports, and compliance with local financial regulations
- Work closely with management to develop budgets and financial forecasts
- Conduct bank reconciliations and manage cash flow
- Implement and maintain internal controls to prevent fraud and discrepancies
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
Experience:
- Previous experience in restaurant accounting or hospitality finance
- Proficiency in accounting software – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
