We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Control Chemist / to join our Quality Control team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished products across various production plants. This role requires shift-wise analysis and involves a wide range of testing procedures to ensure product quality and compliance with internal standards.

Position Shift Chemist

Key Responsibilities include:
-Perform routine chemical analysis of water samples from Boiler and RO plants on a shift basis.
-Analyze raw materials, in-process, and finished products from the Margarine plant and other assigned production units.
-Conduct specialized tests including dilatation of Industrial Fat, texture monitoring of Banaspati, and phosphotides content in oils.
-Analyze samples from ships, terminals, fractionation plants, and the market, maintaining proper records.
-Prepare Quality Inspection Reports (QIR) against GRNs and job cards.
-Monitor key operational parameters like steam pressure and dissolved oxygen levels.
-Assist in R&D testing and support senior chemists in development activities.
-Conduct supplier site inspections when required.
-Maintain lab hygiene, including cleaning of glassware and general upkeep.

RequiredEducation:
Master’s degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry preferred, (Bachelor’s with strong experience will be considered).
Experience:
1–3 years of relevant experience in an industrial lab or food processing environment preferred.
Strong understanding of analytical techniques and laboratory safety.
Familiarity with quality standards and regulatory compliance in the edible oil/fats industry is a plus.
