Position: Chef (Rawalpindi)

Experience Required:

Proven experience as a chef with expertise in Pakistani, Chinese, Continental, Shinwari, Barbecue cuisines, and dessert preparation.
Experience in menu planning and cost control.
Formal culinary education or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with current food trends and dietary restrictions.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Creative flair with a passion for culinary innovation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to train and mentor junior kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Menu Development: Design and update menus that showcase a variety of dishes with balanced flavors and presentation.
Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Quality Control: Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure it meets the establishment’s standards.
Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and storage of ingredients, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing waste.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations and a harmonious work environment.
Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Customer Interaction: Occasionally engage with guests to receive feedback and ensure satisfaction with culinary offerings.
