WE ARE HIRING!
We are looking for Accounts Officer who will be responsible to assist in the finance department and keep financial records up-to-date, checking invoices, and handling queries on general accounts.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor/Master in Accounting / Finance.
Professional Degree Holder like ACCA, CA-Inter shall be given preference.
2-3 Years of relevant Experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process & record day to day financial transactions in compliance with applicable tax laws i.e. both Federal & Provincial.
- Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
- Handling accruals, prepayments, advances & adjustments.
- Co-ordinate with the operational departments to identify and promptly resolve potential issues in cases submitted for processing.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.
- Support the reporting Manager with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as required.
- Reconciliation of ledgers on periodic basis.
- Maintaining Archives of Important Note Sheets in soft as well as a hard copy.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT:
Detail-oriented.
Able to work within a team
Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word etc.).
