WE ARE LOOKING FOR ASSISTANT MANAGER IMPORT
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end import operations, including documentation, vendor coordination, and collaboration with freight forwarders, clearing agents, and transporters.
- Ensure compliance with import regulations and company policies to minimize risks and penalties.
- Negotiate freight rates and delivery schedules to optimize costs and meet operational needs.
- Verify and maintain accurate import documentation to ensure seamless customs clearance and avoid delays.
- Track shipments, address issues promptly, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience.
Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Import Regulations & Compliance.
- Expertise in Logistics & Vendor Management: International shipping, freight forwarding, supplier coordination, and cost optimization.
- Understanding of LCs, foreign exchange policies, cost control and regulatory authorities.
