JOB OPPORTUNITIES: The Engineering Development Board, mandated to develop, modernize, upgrade, and enhance the capacity of Pakistan’s engineering industrial and services sector on global modern lines, invites applications for the following project positions:

1. Advisor / Specialist / Experts (PPS-11 Equivalent to BS-21)

Number of Positions: 04
Maximum Age: 55 Years
Qualification & Experience:
- At least B.Sc / B.E with 16 years of experience OR
- MS with 12 years of experience OR
- PhD with 8 years of experience in the relevant field of Engineering.
Fields of Expertise:
- Chemical/Petrochemicals
- Steel & Other Metals
- Heavy Engineering
- Engineering Services

2. Accounts Officer / Drawing and Disbursement Officer (DDO) (PPS-07 Equivalent to BS-17)

Number of Positions: 01
Maximum Age: 35 Years
Qualification & Experience:
- HEC-recognized 16-year professional degree such as B.Com, BBA, M.Com, MBA (Finance major), or an equivalent degree.
- At least 5 years of experience managing government accounts and administrative affairs, particularly related to PSDP-funded projects.
- Previous experience as Drawing and Disbursement Officer (DDO) and qualifications such as PIPFA or SAS would be an added advantage.

3. Business Development Manager (PPS-07 Equivalent to BS-17)

Number of Positions: 01
Maximum Age: 35 Years
Qualification & Experience:
- 16 years of education in Business Administration, Management Sciences, Marketing/PR, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in media and stakeholder coordination.
- Experience in organizing and managing seminars, workshops, official events, conferences, and symposia.

4. Research Assistant (PPS-06 Equivalent to BS-16)

Number of Positions: 03
Maximum Age: 30 Years
Qualification & Experience:
- 16 years of education in Business Administration, Management Sciences, Marketing/PR, Engineering, Computer Sciences, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant field.

Procedure for Applying:

Only post-qualification experience will be considered.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
The Selection Committee’s decision is final and cannot be challenged in any forum or court of law.
Educational qualifications must be in First Class from an HEC-recognized institution, with no second division throughout the academic career.
Candidates employed in Government, Autonomous, or Semi-Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel.
No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the test/interview.
The cutoff date for determining eligibility (age, qualification, experience, etc.) will be the closing date for applications.
The Competent Authority reserves the right to cancel, increase, or decrease the number of positions at any stage without assigning a reason.
