Position Title: Head of Application Security
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage/conduct assessments of applications (web, cloud, mobile, API) using a range of manual and automated source code review techniques.
- Perform security architecture reviews & risk assessments for applications in design and production phases.
- Identify potential threats and attacks to application systems through threat modeling.
- Identify security recommendations and align them with appropriate risk ranking systems.
- Integrate application security tools and processes into the pipeline.
- Develop and implement an application security strategy that aligns with the organization’s overall security objectives.
- Understand the Software Development Life Cycle and SOAP, REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Thorough and practical knowledge of OWASP, network protocols, data on the wire and covert channels.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s in Information Security, Computer Science or Engineering.
- Security Certifications such as Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), GIAC Certified Web Application Defender (GWEB) will be preferable.
Experience:
- Overall 5-8 years’ experience with minimum 3 years of a managerial role.
- VAPT for Web applications, Mobile applications, APIs, Network infrastructure and thick client applications
