Job Title: Plant Manager-Wind Power Plant
Department : O&M
Location : Gharo
Education Level : BS. Electrical Engineering
Minimum Experience : Minimum 10 to 12 years’ experience including 5 years as plant manager/managerial position
Areas of Responsibility
- Have proficiency with electrical balance of plant (EBOP)
- Have good knowledge to communicate with off-taker, insurance and sub-contractors etc
- Contract management
Power Plant Operations & Maintenance - Operate and maintain plant to maximize efficiency
- Define and execute operations and maintenance parameters
- Analyze data and develop improvement plans
- Inspect and recommend improvements
- Coordinate with clients for smooth operations
Safety & Environment - Implement safety standards and Lock out/Tag out (LOT)
- Monitor plant maintenance and QEHS culture
- Conduct QEHS audits and ensure Zero LTI culture
Budgeting and Planning - Analyze historical data and manage budget
- Identify spare parts requirements and ensure timely delivery
- Evaluate and finalize vendor offers and payments
People Management - Provide effective leadership and inspire direct reports
- Ensure parity and create a conducive working environment
- Delegate responsibilities and create a sense of urgency
- Identify training needs and manage performance
- Coordinate with HR for recruitment and handle administrative issues
Customer Satisfaction - Ensure Contractual plant availability for customer satisfaction
- Entertain customer requests and resolve issues timely
- Support procurement and planned activities
- Track and optimize productivity and performance
