ACT Polyols Private Limited is looking for the position of “Executive – Procurement” in its Supply Chain Department.
Job Responsibilities:
Procurement:
- Implement procurement strategies for technical goods and services.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical specifications.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring optimal pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance, and compliance.
- Ensure that goods and services are procured efficiently, suppliers are paid on time, and all processes adhere to company policies and financial regulations.
- Conduct market research, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Planning: - Develop and maintain comprehensive procurement plans, aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to forecast demand and manage inventory.
- Analyze supply chain risks and advice line manager to develop mitigation strategies.
- Implement and manage inventory management systems.
Location: Clifton, Karachi
Qualification: Bachelors in Engineering, (MBA/ Masters Preferred)
Experience: 1-2 Years of experience in planning & procurement function.
Skills:
- Technical knowledge of procurement and planning principles.
- Good negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Well versed in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Keen analytical and data management skills.
