APPOINTMENT OF THE DIRECTOR GENERAL PAKISTAN AIRPORTS AUTHORITY (DG PAA)

Government of Pakistan requires services of dynamic, experienced, and high caliber professional for the position of Director General, Pakistan Airports Authority (DG PAA). The prescribed qualification, experience, age limit, and other terms of appointment are as under:

Minimum qualification and experience:

An officer in the service of Pakistan or an officer of the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA)

(1) In case of candidate from the service of Pakistan:

(a) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a university or institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission;
(b) An overall experience of twenty-five years in management and administration;
(c) Three years’ experience as a head of an administrative department of a Provincial Government, an attached department or Division of the Federal Government or a regulatory authority under any of these Governments, or such experience of enforcement of regulatory, local or special laws;
(d) Three years’ experience of public procurement or direct supervision of public procurement;
(e) Four years’ experience of estate management of public properties; and
(f) Serving in basic scale 21, equivalent or above in the service of Pakistan.

(2) In case of candidate from service of the Pakistan Airports Authority:

(a) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a university or institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission;
(b) Twenty-five years’ experience of service in the Authority or Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority or both;
(c) Three years’ experience of public procurement or direct supervision of public procurement; and
(d) Serving as Director, equivalent or above in the Authority.

Emoluments:
The appointing authority shall determine the salary, allowances, and other terms and conditions of service of the Director General PAA including key performance indicators for effective discharge of his/her duties.

Max. age & Tenure:
Maximum age limit on the date of assumption of charge of office should be 57 years. The selected candidate shall be appointed for a term of three (03) years.
