Applications are invited for vacant post of Chairman (BS-20) in the Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary
Education Islamabad on following terms and conditions for a period of 03 years extendable for a 2nd term
not exceeding 03 years as per following eligibility criteria:

There is one post available, and it is merit-based.

For private candidates, the age limit is 45 years, with an additional 5 years of general age relaxation in the upper age limit. For government servants, the age limit is determined as per the applicable rules.

To be eligible for the position, candidates must possess a minimum of 16 years of formal education or a 4-year bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in fields such as Education, Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, or Public Policy from a university or institution recognized by the NEC. Additionally, candidates are required to have at least 17 years of post-qualification relevant work experience in either the public or private sector. Out of these 17 years, at least 5 years should have been spent in a senior management position.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible candidates should submit their applications on the prescribed form along with attested copies of documents.
Submission of original documents shall be mandatory at the time of interview.
Applicants already in Government services should apply through proper channel and produce NOC at the time of interview.
Candidates from the Govt. Sector. if selected, would be taken on deputation/ transfer basis while Private Sector candidates, if selected, would be taken on contract basis.
Preferences shall be given to those who have previous experience in education examination/assessment bodies.
No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in test / interview
