Urgently looking for SQL Data Base Administrator at M&P Express Logistics to be based at our Head Office. Candidates with 4-5 years of SQL DBA experience with a Bachelors/Masters in Computer Sciences/Software Engineering.
Job Description:
• Installing, configuring & designing SQL Server & Oracle databases.
• Establish, Monitor & Control user access permissions, privilege’s and security of Databases.
• Perform Database Performance Tuning and work with software team for application tuning.
• Perform QA of all development in M-Raabta and other related softwares.
• Provide database support for on-prem. & cloud based business applications.
• Install and test new & different versions of the database management system (DBMS)
• Write database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary.
• Develop, manage and test backup and recovery plans
• Manage the security and disaster recovery aspects of a database.
• Ensure that storage and backup / archiving procedures are functioning correctly
• Carry out capacity planning
• Work closely with IT project managers, database programmers and multimedia programmers
• Communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security
• Map out the conceptual design for a planned database
