Looking for an experienced candidate to plan and organize the quality assurance function of the Internal Audit Department (IAD) and develop a strong culture of quality with focus towards leading practices and continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role a strong knowledge and experience of audit operations is required
The potential candidate will have
- To be the technical expert; development of internal audit manual and templates. Maintaining methodology and to ensuring audits are conducted in accordance with it.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance program
- To develop frameworks for audit universe, risk assessment and annual plan
- To plan and provide the team with training and technical development and lead for learning and development within the department
- To plan and execute initiatives to create awareness about internal auditing and department within the company
- To assist the GM with management and governance reporting
Requirements: CA qualified (plus CIA would be an advantage) with 8-10 experience of internal audit experience with strong understanding of the Internal Auditing Standards (IPPF, IIA). Currently Head of Internal audit in a medium sized or second to it in a large sized organization.
