Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Job Purpose: The incumbent will be responsible to coordinate with the team to provide strategic guidance and oversee the progress of operations. He/She will be required to develop efficient strategies and tactics while managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. Program Manager will also be responsible for liaising different stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Providing technical and operational expertise for all youth engagement programs at national level
- Actively identifying and applying for grants in youth engagement
- Supervise, provide technical back stopping and manage regional teams for timely completion of work plans in-line with contractual obligations with the donor and Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation (PME) framework
- Develop and innovate program strategies in the field to achieve the program objectives
- Facilitate development of training modules/manuals for program implementation
- Lead the expansion phase of program into new regions and cities
- Draft technical assistance packages for awareness and increase young/elderly people’s uptake of services
- Develop and innovate the social mobilization process of the program
- Participate in planning and management forums
- Promote the work of IRD at various forums and share project processes and learning
- Budgeting, forecasting and financial reviews of project activities
- Support knowledge management and MIS development including baseline
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA)
Required Qualification: Master’s in Social Sciences or Public Health.
Required Experience: 5-6 years of relevant program management experience.
