Location: Based in Head Office, Karachi

Qualifications

2 — 3 years of relevant experience
Bachelors or equivalent HEC recognized degree
Age: Maximum of 28 years

Knowledge and Skills:

Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
Excellent communications and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal customers
Solid analytical skills, with the ability to conduct cost analyses
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software
Attention to detail

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

To assist in achieving departmental objectives through;

Researching potential vendors
Comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers
Track orders and ensure timely delivery
Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
Prepare reports on purchases including cost analyses
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure proper storage

Travelling is required for this position.

2 — 3 years of relevant experience in FMCG industry
Must be B.S. in Food Science & Technology Age: Maximum of 28 years

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Multi-tasking skills
Attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

To assist in achieving departmental objectives through;

Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures and standards
Shape and develop Quality Awareness Culture in the factory
Ensure compliance as per Halal, ISO and food safety management certification like HACCP
Assure ongoing compliance with quality policies and procedures and industry regulatory requirements
Conduct hygiene and housekeeping audits of whole factory on monthly basis and make report
Conduct quality audits of suppliers to insure that supplies are as per required specification
Implementation of product quality requirements in distribution and at market place
Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting of quality data
Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of in-coming packing materials to ensure finished product quality
Monitor risk management activities
Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
Develop packaging material specification
Collect and compile statistical quality data
