Position: Network Engineer Core Operations
Location: Lahore
Responsible to handle operations, upgradation, and optimization of Wateen IP/MPLS Core network
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 & 2 support to customers and internal stakeholders
- Work closely with Strategy and Planning teams for integration and testing of various products and services
- Deployment of customers MPLS and internet links, and manage NMS like Cacti, What’s UP Gold, Manage Engine App Manager
- Coordination with vendors for operational issues
- 24×7 Availability required to handle network outages and Planned activities
- Provide assistance to Core OPS Manager as required
Required Skills:
- 2 – 3 years relevant experience in deployment, configuration and supporting large, complex, TCP/IP/MPLS-based networks.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, MPLS VPN (L2/L3 VPN), BGP, ISIS, OSPF, Carrier Ethernet, QoS, and IPv6.
- Hands-On with Cisco Routers (7600, ASR900, ASR9000) and switches (6500, Nexus 9000,3750,3400)
- Candidate having ISP/TELCO experience will be highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills to interact with and assist all various levels within the customer organization. Must have excellent written, oral communication and listening skills
- Self-motivated, Team Player and collaboration skills
- The candidate should be Lahore resident and will be preferred
Education: At least Bachelor’s Degree
Network certification (CCNA or CCNP/HCNP) is a strong advantage.

Position: Database Administrator
Location: Lahore
The position will be responsible to ensure database availability with optimal performance, security and day-to-day production database administration tasks including but not limited to troubleshooting & problem resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of Oracle databases
- Patching Oracle software
- Experience in managing Oracle Clusterware
- Control access permissions and privileges according to users’ requirements
- Work closely with database developers to resolve code related issues
- Establishing the needs of users and monitoring user access and security
- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues/bottlenecks
- Installing and testing new versions of the Oracle database
- Capacity planning and monitoring of database storage growth
- Monitor and troubleshoot on-site and off-site RMAN backups
- Synchronization of test/UAT databases with production databases
- Experience in Oracle data pump utility
- Strong knowledge of Oracle ASM
- Hands-on experience in managing Oracle databases on Linux OS
- Strong knowledge of materialized view replication
Requirements
Qualification: BCS (Computer Science)
Experience: 02 to 03 years
Relevant Certifications will be a plus
