Job Title: General Manager Planning & Infrastructure

About the Role: The role of General Manager Planning and Infrastructure is to provide leadership for PPIU and inhouse team of specialists in the field of Design, ESS and Contracts. The incumbent shall be responsible for smooth execution of design cycle, construction procurement of physical components and maintenance of the assigned projects of the company are as per the condition of the contract and in compliance to relevant standards, guidelines, and industry best practic-
es. He/she will oversee the performance of pioject planning and implementation unit (PPIU) and others (If any) to make sure that the as signed projects including Karachi Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Red Line project are completed within the prescribed time frame, Quality and funding parameters. He/she will monitor the conditions of the built infrastructure such that any ongoing maintenance or modifications to the assigned project post inauguration can be dealt with expeditiously and from a professional design perspective.

Qualification: Master’s degree in the field of Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Project Management / Transportation Engineering from HEC recognized universities. Foreign qualifications from renowned universities will be considered as an added advantage. Training & experience in FIDIC form of contract will be added ad-
vantages.

Experience: Minimum 15 years of proven experience whereas minimum 07 years as senior management position like project manager, project Director / or Head Project Management unit. Large scale infrastructure projects and BRT experience is highly desirable. Foreign relevant international work experience will be considered an added advantage.

Job Title: Gender Specialist

About the Role: The Gender Specialist will spearhead TransKarachi’s capacity development and knowledge development initiatives on gender through networking and partnership building and will support the development and management
of gender-related action plans and projects of TransKarachi.

Qualification: Postgraduate in gender studies, law, social work, public policy and administration, urban development, or related discipline. Foreign qualification will be considered an added advantage.

Experience: At least 10 years of posi-qualification relevant experience including a minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role. Experience of working with ADB, Multi-lateral development banks and government is highly desirable.

Job Title: Manager Corporate Communications

About the Role: The Manager Corporate Communication would be handling the media relations role and lead media outreach initiatives, inclusive of pitching inbound media queries and man-aging relationships between TransKarachi and local, national and international media and image building of the company through sound marketing and advertising strategies on print, electronic and social media.

Qualification:
Master’s degree in Media Relationship / Mass Communications
Journalism / Marketing, or a related discipline from a HEC recognized university.

Experience: 10 years progressive experience in managing communications, media relations, marketing, advertising in a reputable company. Demonstrated experience of preparing and implementation of communications and marketing strategies handling of print / electronic media is essential and a requirement of the position.

Job Title: Manager ITS (Intelligent Transport System)

About the Role: Reporting to the General Manager Operations, the Manager Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) shall be responsible for organizing and co-ordinating activities related to the development of ITS components for Karachi BRT Red Line.He/she will also be responsible for preparing the RFP, implementation of the ITS solution, and
ensure operation of ITS.

Qualification: Bachelors degree in computer science, Electrical, Telecom, Electronics, or a related field from a HEC recognized university. Masters degree in a relevant discipline will be preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 6 years of post-qualification professional experience.A minimum of 2 years of similar experience will be considered as an added advantage. The maximum age limit is 45.
